March's Books of the Month
This month we have two fantastic offerings for adults and children alike.
Picture Book of the Month
After the huge success of Mouse's Wood, comes Mouse on the River. Following the journey of Mouse visiting their friend on the coast, we travel along the river from in the woods, through the town, through the broads and on to the seashore. With charming and timeless illustration, full of nature spotting details for everyone to enjoy spending time exploring.
Suitable for ages 3+. We have also found these books to be a great source of comfort to those who are dealing with dementia.
Paperback of the Month
The sixth and latest instalment of the fantastic Jackson Brodie series, Death at the Sign of the Rook seamlessly blends Atkinson's wry private detective with all the traditional calling cards of a Christie-esque whodunnit. If you haven't read any of this series, this would easily stand alone and hopefully leave you wanting to start the series from the beginning with Case Histories. Kate Atkinson is a Book House favourite author and this is another wonderful addition to her rich and varied backlist.
